Klang Valley sees 22% increase in Covid-19 hospital admissions

Despite a rise in hospital admissions across the Klang Valley and Sarawak, the nationwide trend is down, according to the Health Ministry. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, October 21, 2021.

IN the past seven days, the Klang Valley has seen a 22% increase in hospital admissions due to Covid-19, Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin tweeted today. 

He said the ministry has added a snapshot view to its CovidNow platform to “quickly highlight trends” with increased hospital admissions in the Klang Valley and Sarawak among the main indicators for the ministry to monitor.
