DAILY Covid-19 cases continue to drop for the second day in a row, with 5,745 infections reported as of noon, said Health Director-General Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

Malaysia had reported 5,434 Covid-19 cases yesterday, its lowest since June 28.

The total number of coronavirus infections now stands at 2.4 million as of 12pm today.

The case breakdown according to states will be updated on the CovidNow website after midnight.

Malaysia has fully vaccinated more than 70% of its population, after 207,541 vaccine doses were dispensed yesterday.

The country aims to administer both doses to 80% of its population by December 8. – October 19, 2021.
