MALAYSIA has inoculated 67.5% of its population after a total of 174,732 vaccine doses were dispensed yesterday.
According to the Special Committee for Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply, a total of 24.69 million people or 75.7% have now received at least one dose of the vaccine.
Meanwhile, more than 1.8 million or 57.3% of adolescents have received one dose of the vaccine as of yesterday, while 637,079 or 20.2% have been fully vaccinated.
Using the Health Ministry’s CovidNow website tracker, it projects 80% of the total population will be fully vaccinated by December 13.
It has also vaccinated 95.1% of the adult population.
The country has administered more than 46.63 million doses under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme. – October 16, 2021.
