PAS should resign from all its posts in Selangor, said a PKR Youth delegate, just like how his party’s officials had let go of their government appointments in Kelantan.

Johor PKR Youth delegate Naim Jusri threw down this challenge to PAS in his speech at the wing’s congress today in Shah Alam.

This is following the Islamist party’s decision to remain in the PKR and DAP-led Selangor government despite cutting political ties with both parties.

“I challenge PAS to quit from all its posts in Selangor, just as we have done so in the Kelantan government,” said Naim.

After PAS cut ties with PKR, the latter ordered all its members to resign from posts in the PAS-led Kelantan government.

PAS however, has said it will hang on to its three executive council posts and other government positions in the Selangor government. – May 20, 2017.
