Govt awaits deputy Agong’s views before deciding on Malacca emergency, says PM

PUTRAJAYA is still waiting to hear Deputy Yang Di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah’s views before deciding whether to propose an emergency in Malacca to pause impending polls, said Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

A meeting will be held between the deputy Yang Di-Pertuan Agong, Attorney-General’s Chambers, Health Ministry and Election Commission, he added.
