2.72 million foreigners received free Covid-19 vaccines so far, says Adham

The government is providing free Covid-19 vaccines to non-Malaysians, in line with its aspiration that no one is safe until everyone is. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, October 1, 2021.

AS many as 2.72 million foreigners have received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine since the start of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme in February, said Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Dr Adham Baba.

This is in line with Malaysia’s aspiration that “no one is safe until everyone is”, he said in response to former deputy health minister Dr Lee Boon Chye (Gopeng-PH).
