PRIME Minister Muhyiddin Yassin’s future and the status of the Perikatan Nasional administration will be made known tomorrow, according to Bersatu.
The party will wait till then to make its intentions public, supreme council member Mohd Redzuan Yusof said after an early morning meeting today, which itself followed intense speculation that Muhyiddin is ready to step down as prime minister.
“Inshallah, there will be a special announcement, but whatever it is, remain calm and wait for tomorrow,” Redzuan said today.
Muhyiddin arrived at the meeting in the Publika shopping and office complex, Kuala Lumpur, at about 9.35am.
Among the early arrivals were Communications and Multimedia Minister Saifuddin Abdullah, Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin and Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Mustapa Mohamed.
Deputy Higher Education Minister Mansor Othman, Deputy Health Minister Dr Noor Azmi Ghazali, and Deputy Transport Minister Kamarudin Jaffar were also present.
