NOW is the time for the opposition to step forward and prove to the people that it is really committed to helping the people and not out for merely political gains.

We have heard the opposition members time and again criticising the government and claiming there have been insufficient efforts to curb the spread of Covid-19.

Now is the chance for them to step up, take the olive branch from Muhyiddin Yassin and play their roles to help the people.

I completely agree with DAP’s Tony Pua and Ong Kian Ming that this is the time to put all differences aside and the people first.

A man in need is not going to bother about who or which political party renders him assistance – all that matters at this point is that he gets help.

Pakatan Harapan was very quick to reject Muhyiddin’s offer which goes to show that the leadership did not even give it serious consideration.

They are bent upon Muhyiddin resigning, but what benefit is this going to bring anyone? Muhyiddin has clearly stated that the next GE will be held by July, which is just a a few months away.

The current administration is already in the midst of battling the epidemic and the added resources of the opposition will surely benefit the people.

This is not the time for the opposition to prolong its bickering, but to join forces and help the nation.

Let us forget the likes of Umno members who are merely here for their personal interests. What the two clowns in Umno are fighting for is merely to stay out of jail and nothing else.

We as voters need help and it is us who are going to decide the next administration.

If the opposition is really sincere about helping us, then this is the chance. Muhyiddin has put the ball in your court and the nation is watching what you, the opposition, do next. – August 14, 2021.
