STERN action will be taken against any person who participates in the #Lawan rally on Aug 21, Inspector-General of Police Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani said.

He said police have taken note that there are parties planning to stage the rally, which he described as an irresponsible action.

“This is because (it) violates the standard operating procedures (SOP) under the national recovery plan and neglects health safety during the Covid-19 pandemic,” he said in a statement tonight.

“The public is advised not to take part in any activities that violate the law and SOP.”

Acryl also stressed that police will not tolerate those who organise or take part in any rally. – Bernama, August 7, 2021.

  • To be consistent, you should also send a similar message to the PN ministers. Your eyes on the ground are the police outriders themselves!
