SELANGOR police are probing a viral video of members of Bersatu women’s wing dancing at a hotel, in a clear violation of Covid-19 standard operating procedure (SOP). 

State police chief Arjunaidi Mohamed told reporters that the investigation papers were almost complete.

“We have called up the organisers and we are in the midst of completing the papers before it can be submitted to the Attorney-General’s Chambers. 

“There was violation of SOP, there is no doubt about it,” he told the press in an online press conference this afternoon.

According to reports, the event happened at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Glenmarie, Selangor recently.

In the video, a group of women were recorded dancing in a ballroom of the hotel. 

Also visible in the video was a backdrop banner with images of Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin and Srikandi chief Rina Mohd Harun. – July 28, 2021.
