THE government will not compromise with factories and business premises that violate stipulated regulations and standard operating procedures (SOP), said Deputy Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

He said stern action would be taken against factories and business premises that breach SOP.

“We will wage an all-out ‘war’ in the ‘combat’ against Covid-19 and will take stern action against factories and business premises that remain stubborn,” he said in a Facebook post today.

Ismail Sabri added that 108 factories and business premises were found in violation of SOP and were ordered to close. – Bernama, July 11, 2021.
