Police shut two hidden trails in Jeli to prevent interstate travel


Police have installed concrete barricades to block two hidden trails in two villages in Jeli, Kelantan, believed to have been used by travellers to enter the state during the ongoing full MCO. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, June 16, 2021.

POLICE have installed concrete barricades to block two hidden routes detected in Kg Jerek and Kg Lawang in Batu Melintang, believed to have been used by travellers and even smugglers, to enter the state during the ongoing total lockdown.

Jeli district police chief Ahmad Ariffin said apart from the concrete barricades, roadblocks were also being mounted in the two areas, involving police, military and Rela personnel.
