Cosmetics seller slashed to death at Shah Alam night market

POLICE are on the hunt for Indonesian men believed to have slashed a cosmetics trader to death at the Section 25 night market in Shah Alam last night.

Four men attacked Mohd Nor Syazrin Rasdi, 29, about 9pm while he was manning his stall with three workers, Shah Alam District Police chief ACP Shafien Mamat said today.

Nor Syazrin was injured in the neck and died on the spot, he said in a statement.

“One of his workers who went to his aid was slashed in the head and has been warded at Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang,” he said.

Shafien said police had detained two of the workers, one an Indonesian man and the other a Malaysian woman, to assist in investigations.

Police were trying on establishing the motive for the murder, he said. – Bernama, January 8, 2018.
