Home Ministry to hold dialogue on ‘Allah’ issue on Monday

The High Court in Kuala Lumpur ruled on March 10 that Sarawakian Christian Jill Ireland Lawrence Bill can use the word ‘Allah’ in the course of practising her religion. Five days later, Putrajaya filed an appeal against the decision. – EPA pic, April 11, 2021.

THE Home Ministry is expected to start its dialogue sessions with religious bodies on the “Allah” issue on Monday. 

A ministry spokesperson told The Malaysian Insight that the dialogue with various religious individuals and organisations will be carried out in stages.
