Income tax dept sends Najib bankruptcy notice

FORMER prime minister Najib Razak was issued a bankruptcy notice from the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) for failure to settle outstanding taxes, Malaysiakini reported.

The notice was for unpaid taxes amounting to RM1.7 billion.

  • Alhamdulillah... Najib should pays tax like other good Malaysians do. I never failed to pay my tax even though I hate the corrupted government that we got day in day out

  • As a former government servant we make a point to deduct from our monthly salary a certain amount so that by the years end we have the required tax to pay LHDN when required to do so.
