THE Health Ministry traced three new Covid-19 clusters linked to workplaces in the past 24 hours.
Director-general of health Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the three clusters accounted for 213 cases.
The clusters were reported in Selangor, Johor and Penang.
Noor Hisham said the Technology Bukit Minyak cluster detected at a factory in Penang reported the most cases, with 98 people testing positive for Covid-19.
The cluster in Johor, detected at a factory called Jalan Indah Gemilang Satu, recorded 78 infections.
The Balakong Jaya Dua cluster detected at a supermarket warehouse in Selangor is spread over Hulu Langat and Kuala Selangor districts. This cluster reported 37 cases.
A total of 1,310 clusters have been reported in the country, including the three detected today.
Out of this number, 399 clusters are active with 54 reporting new daily cases.
Clusters reporting high cases today are Subang Dua with 185 cases, followed by the newly traced Jalan Indah Gemilang Satu (73) and Tg Suria (63).
Noor Hisham said 15 clusters ended today, taking the total number clusters to conclude to 911. β March 23, 2021.
