THREE new Covid-19 clusters were identified by health authorities in the last 24 hours, with two linked to workplaces, said Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
The director-general of health said the other cluster is community-based.
A total of 67 cases were recorded in these three clusters.
Noor Hisham said Bergalak, a community cluster detected in the districts of Sibu and Song in Sarawak, reported the bulk of the cases with 49 confirmed infections.
Meanwhile, the first workplace cluster – Jalan Tun Mutalib Tiga – was traced to a factory in the district of Kota Tinggi, Johor.
A total of 10 cases have been confirmed from this cluster so far.
The second workplace cluster, dubbed Jalan Sutera, was detected at a factory in Hulu Langat, Selangor. It has eight confirmed cases.
A total of 1,237 clusters have now been recorded in the country, including the three reported today.
Of them, 424 clusters are still active, with 64 still reporting new cases.
Among clusters reporting high number of cases today were Tembok Tapah with 57 cases, followed by Jalan Kebun Nenas (30) and Rawang Bestari (28).
Five clusters ended today, taking the total number of clusters to conclude to 813. – March 14, 2021.
