TWO new Covid-19 clusters were traced by health authorities in the past 24-hours, both linked to workplace infections, said director-general of health Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
According to Noor Hisham, 29 cases have stemmed from the clusters, one in Johor and the other in Kuala Lumpur.
He said Jalan Mega Cemerlang cluster in Johor Baru involved a food factory and had reported 19 cases so far.
Meanwhile, the Jalan Pria cluster involves a nursery, with 10 cases reported in Titiwangsa and Cheras.
He said the two new clusters today bring the total cumulative number of infection groups nationwide to 1,234, with 426 still active.
Noor Hisham said 52 of those active clusters are still reporting new cases.
The Jalan Salak construction site cluster reported the most cases (73), followed by Lintang Bayan Lepas (56) and Tembok Tapah (49).
