PUTRAJAYA has lifted the enhanced movement-control order (EMCO) at several blocks of the Sibu Jaya flats in Sarawak following a drop in the number of Covid-19 cases there.

Senior Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the blocks are C, H, J, K, L, N and R.

“To date, the Health Ministry has conducted 6,875 tests and detected 390 positive cases.

“The ministry has found significant improvement and cases have decreased. The situation is under control and there are no more samples to be tested,” he said in a statement.

Meanwhile, on Covid-19 tests on foreign workers, Ismail Sabri said 5,036 individuals had undergone testing yesterday, of whom 88 were positive.

Cumulatively, he said 598,790 foreign workers from 31,275 employers have taken the test.

Of the total number of foreign workers tested, 9,500 had or have Covid-19. – March 10, 2021.
