New MySejahtera feature to register relatives goes live in 2 weeks

A NEW feature that allows MySejahtera users to register family members for Covid-19 vaccination will go live in two weeks, said Khairy Jamaluddin.

“Website & hotline registration live on Friday 5 March. MySj dependents’ registration feature live in two weeks,” he tweeted today.

Khairy who is the co-coordinating minister for the national Covid-19 immunisation programme, said registration counters are being set up at the public healthcare facilities as an alternative.

Khairy was responding to a tweet by Danny Gnaniah seeking advice on how senior citizens without a smartphone could register for the jab.

“@Khairykj need to know if there’s another registration system apart from MySejahtera for the vaccine. My mom is 87 and doesn’t use a smartphone— many seniors and rural B40 fall under this category. Do advise,” he said.

As of 8am today, 1.74million people have signed up for the inoculation programme.

More than 53,000 people have received the first dose of the vaccine as of yesterday. – March 3, 2021.
