MYSEJAHTERA is the only app for people to sign up for the national covid-19 immunisation programme, said Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah. 

“I do not wish to nullify others but the government’s official app is MySejahtera,” the director-general of health said. 

“This is why it is important for all of us to register under MySejahtera.”  

Noor Hisham was commenting on whether one could register for the shot on other apps besides MySejahtera.

Recently, the Selangor government said registration was possible via its contact tracing app, SELangkah.

The app has a new feature for people to “RSVP – Register and Sign up for your Vaccine Pack” supplied by the Selangor government.

More than one million people have registered for vaccination on MySejahtera and more are expected, said Noor Hisham.

Meanwhile, senior assistant director-general of the disease control division at the Health Ministry, Dr Mahesh Appannan, said MySejahtera will be updated to allow dependents of a household, especially those above 16-years-old, without a smartphone to be registered for the vaccination programme by a family member. – February 26, 2021.
