Prices up 5 sen for petrol, unchanged for diesel


PETROL will cost five sen more per litre while the price of diesel will remain unchanged for the next five days.
 
In a departure from the usual weekly retail pricing, the Finance Ministry said the new prices will be effective from February 27 to March 3.

The retail price of RON97 petrol is up to RM2.35 from RM2.30 per litre while RON95 petrol is RM2.05 from RM2 per litre.

Diesel stays at RM2.15 per litre.

The ceiling price of RON95 is capped at RM2.05 per litre and diesel at RM2.15 per litre, even though current market prices for RON95 and diesel is 10 sen more per litre than today’s listed prices, said the ministry in a statement. – February 26, 2021.
