Covid-19 temporarily closes Ampang police station

The Ampang Jaya police stations has closed until March 1 following viral news on social media alleging that 11 police personnel had tested positive for Covid-19. – Facebook pic, February 23, 2021.

THE Ampang police station is temporarily closed from today until March 1 due to a number of suspected Covid-19 cases among its personnel.

Ampang Jaya police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Farouk Eshak the public could to go other police stations in the district for any assistance needed.  

“All matters of lodging police reports and inter-district or interstate travel applications can be made at other nearby police stations such as those in Hulu Klang, Malawati, Pandan Indah, Ukay Perdana and Pandan Perdana.

“We hope that all front-line workers who have tested positive for Covid-19 are in good health and recover quickly,” he said.

He was commenting on messages that went viral alleging that 11 officers had to go into self-quarantine. – February 23, 2021.
