Two new virus clusters identified, both in Sabah

Two new Covid-19 clusters have been reported today, both in Sabah, with Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah saying both were traced to a symptomatic individual. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, December 1, 2020.

HEALTH authorities have discovered two new Covid-19 clusters in Sabah, both of which were traced to a symptomatic individual.

Director-general of health Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said, with this, the number of active clusters in the country now stood at 180.

The View Kolombong cluster was discovered in Kota Kinabalu and Tuaran when a Covid-19 case was reported.

As many as 40 people have contracted the virus in this cluster.

Meanwhile, the Talang Talang cluster was also discovered in Kota Kinabalu following a screening exercise.

The cluster has thus far reported 18 cases. – December 1, 2020.
