Covid-19 cases up by 1,315, four new deaths

THERE were 1,315 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 63,176 in all, said Health Director-General Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

At the same time, there were 1,110 recoveries, and four new deaths.

The total number of recoveries in the country now stands at 51,314 with 11,508 active cases.

Of the new cases reported today, five were imported.

The deaths today involved one Malaysian and three foreign nationals. The total number of deaths is 354.

“All four deaths occurred in Sabah.” said Noor Hisham.

There are 118 patients in intensive care units, with 43 needing breathing assistance. – November 28, 2020.
