5 new Covid-19 clusters traced in Sabah, Selangor, Negri Sembilan, Perak, Johor

Five new Covid-19 clusters have been detected today in Sabah, Selangor, Negri Sembilan, Perak and Johor, and these contribute a total of 98 infections to the day’s caseload. There are currently 324 active clusters. – The Malaysian Insight pic by Hasnoor Hussain, November 20, 2020.

FIVE new Covid-19 clusters were recorded today, said Health Director-General Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah. 

He said the five new clusters are located in Sabah, Selangor, Negri Sembilan, Perak and Johor.

Noor Hisham said the five new clusters contributed a total of 98 cases. 

He said that today’s numbers bring the total number of clusters in the country to 324.

At the Kasir cluster in Sabah, he said a total of 143 individuals have been screened, where 28 cases were detected positive for the virus. 

At the Sri Jujur cluster in Selangor, a total of 273 individuals have been screened 41 individuals tested positive.

A total of 73 individuals have been screened at the OAD cluster in Negri Sembilan. There were 11 positive cases detected.

At the Enggor cluster in Perak, Noor Hisham said a total of 280 individuals were screened, where 12 cases were found to be positive with the virus. 

At the Makmur cluster in Johor, a total of 68 individuals have been screened. Six individuals tested positive for the virus. 

He also said a total of three clusters have ended – Seri Setia cluster, Bina cluster, and Bah Bundle cluster. This brings the total number of clusters that have ended to 157. – November 20, 2020.
