CMCO ends in 4 states, to start in Kelantan

THE conditional movement control order in Kedah, Malacca, Terengganu and Johor will end tomorrow following a drop in Covid-19 cases, said Senior Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

However, several districts in Kedah and Johor will remain under the CMCO, he added.

At the same time, Kelantan will also be placed under CMCO from November 21 to December 6.

“The whole of Kedah is now under recovery movement control order except in Kulim. Kulim is still under CMCO for two more weeks.

“Malacca, the whole state is clear now and is under RMCO, and the same goes for Terengganu.

“In Johor, only Mersing and Kota Tinggi are still under CMCO for two more weeks. The rest are now under RMCO,” he said in his daily press conference.

As for Kelantan, Ismail said the state has been placed under CMCO following an increase of cases in the state.

On another matter, Ismail said K Avenue Megacity, a commercial and residential high-rise building in Penampang, Sabah, has been placed under an enhanced movement control order.

The decision was made following the advice from the Health Ministry. 

“The order will affect 400 residents,” he stated.

Putrajaya today agreed to lift the EMCO on Anjung Teduh Felda Sahabat in Lahad Datu following a significant drop in cases.

Anjung Teduh was placed under an EMCO from October 24 until November 20. – November 20, 2020.
