Three new Covid-19 clusters today, all in Sabah

THREE new Covid-19 clusters with 41 positive cases have been detected in Sabah, said Health Director-General Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

The first was the Karamunting cluster, located in the Sandakan district.

Here, a total of 21 positive cases have been reported from 30 people screened. The rest tested negative.

Saga is the second new cluster in Sabah, which was reported in Kota Kinabalu.

As of noon today, five new cases were detected here, taking the total number of positive cases in this cluster to nine from a total of 56 screened.

Forty-seven are still waiting for results in this cluster.

The final cluster reported in Sabah today was Haven, which involves the Lahat Datu district.

From a total of 140 people screened, 11 tested positive for the virus, negative (112) and waiting for results (17).

Malaysia reported 822 new Covid-19 infections today.

Sabah, for the 36th consecutive day, recorded the highest figure in daily new infections, with the state reporting 202 cases or 24.6% of total cases today. – November 11, 2020.
