Three new clusters in Sabah, one in Kelantan, says Noor Hisham

THE Health Ministry has identified four new clusters today, with three from Sabah, said Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah. 

The director-general of health said a total of 101 Covid-19 cases have been detected in these four new clusters. 

The first cluster reported in Sabah is Liawan, which involves the Keningau district.

A total of 24 positive cases were detected from 95 people screened. 

Fifty-four have tested negative and 17 are still waiting for results in this cluster. 

The second cluster in Sabah is known as Tatahan and it involves Kota Kinabalu. 

As of noon today, a total of 28 people have been screened, of which 18 have tested positive while the rest tested negative.

GK Tawau is the third cluster in Sabah today and it involves the Tawau district. 

A total of 168 people have been screened here and 49 have tested positive for the virus, while 41 tested negative and 78 are waiting for results.

The final cluster identified today is Kube in Kelantan.

This cluster involves the Kota Baru and Tanah Merah districts. 

From 61 people screened, 10 were positive, negative (46) and waiting for results (5).

Noor Hisham said four clusters have ended today. 

The four are Rinting, Semarak, Jelok and Sabindo. 

No deaths were reported in any of the four clusters that ended. – November 10, 2020.
