LET us all unite and come together as sons and daughters of Malaysia. We are facing difficult times dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. With the latest government order to work from home, many working adults are facing challenges in their own respective ways.

However, we must not let our guard down and throw caution to the wind. I have seen some who do not wear masks while out and about buying groceries or walking to their parked car. I have also noticed individuals not adhering to the social distancing standard of 1m from one another when queuing in line to make a payment at the restaurant or when buying groceries.
This must not happen at all. We must always be vigilant and remind ourselves to adhere to the standard operating procedure set by the government. Should we see another person not abiding by the SOP we have a civic duty to remind him or her to do so by informing in a polite manner.
It is high time Malaysians unite as one in the battle against Covid-19. Let us all fight this battle as a brotherhood of men and not selfish individuals, who think that contracting the virus is something that happens to the other guy. No! Malaysians must unite as one to remind ourselves we all bear a civic duty to adhere to the existing Covid-19 SOP.
We are in uncharted territory with regard to the pandemic. Let us all band together and help each other in the spirit of unity.
Let us not forget our civic duty, Malaysia. – October 22, 2020.
