PERLIS Menteri Besar Azlan Man said he is voluntarily quarantining himself at home after returning from Sabah on September 26.

Azlan said he was tested for Covid-19 at Tuanku Fauziah Hospital (HTF) this morning.

“Yes, I am currently in home quarantine since arriving in Perlis on September 26 from Sabah. Health staff advised me to observe home isolation orders,” he said when contacted.

People arriving from Sabah are issued Home Surveillance Orders (HSO) and must wear a quarantine bracelet until October 10.

Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said Covid-19 infection control measures must be imposed on people with a travel history to Sabah. – Bernama, September 28, 2020.
