WATER supply is restored to nearly 90% of dry areas in the Klang Valley, said Pengurusan Air Selangor.

As of 6.30am today, supply is fully restored in Hulu Selangor, Kuala Langat and Kuala Selangor, taking the recovery rate to 89.47%, the water authority said in a statement.

This means the resumption of supply for 1,156  of the 1,292 areas experiencing an unscheduled disruption since Thursday.

Restoration is in progress in Klang, Shah Alam, Gombak, Petaling and Kuala Lumpur.

Consumers are advised against hoarding and wasting water as this will hamper the restoration process for areas still without water. – September 8, 2020.
