INDONESIA has again registered more than 3,000 coronavirus cases over 24 hours.

According to the government’s Covid-19 portal, there are 3,075 new infections today, taking the national tally to 180,646.

Cases peaked at 3,308 on Saturday, before dropping below 3,000 yesterday.

The portal also reported 111 new virus deaths, taking the total to 7,616.

Jakarta province has the highest number of cases at 42,041, followed by East Java (34,278).

East Java has the most fatalities at 2,425, followed by Jakarta (1,231). – Bernama, September 2, 2020.
