DRB-HICOM Bhd has appointed Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin as chairman, effective September 1, 2020.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, DRB-Hicom said Wan Zulkiflee will be replacing current chairman Datuk Mohammad Zainal Shaari, who will resign on August 31, 2020, due to other business commitments.

As to date, DRB-Hicom said Wan Zulkiflee is the group’s independent director since August 1, 2020.

Prior to that, he was former president and group chief executive officer of Petronas.

He is also presently the non-executive group chairman of Malaysia Airlines Bhd and Malaysia Aviation Group Bhd. – Bernama, August 28, 2020.
