EC chairman Abdul Ghani Salleh said the centres are SK Changkat Sulaiman, SK Trolak Utara, SK Trolak Selatan, SK Seri Besout, SK Besout 3, SK Besout 5, SK Kuala Slim, SK Slim River, SK Aminudin Baki, SJK (T) Ladang Sungkai, SJK (T) Ladang Kelapa Bali and SJK (T) Trolak.

The polls result is expected to be announced at 9pm, he said.

He said the EC is targeting an 85% turnout out of the constituency’s more than 22,700 voters, adding that he hopes for full compliance with Covid-19 standard operating procedures.

“This is to ensure not just our own safety, but also that of our family members,” he told reporters in Tg Malim today.

The Perak state seat will see a three-way fight between Barisan Nasional’s Mohd Zaidi Aziz and independents Amir Khusyairi Mohamad Tanusi and S. Santharasekaran.
