Aviation authority to complete US safety ratings next year

The Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia will complete 33 audit issues bought up by the US Federal Aviation Administration when it downgraded the Malaysian authority to category two. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, August 26, 2020.

THE Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) is expected to complete corrections next year on all 33 audit issues that was raised by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) last year, said Transport Minister Wee Ka Siong.

Wee, who is also Ayer Hitam MP, said the Transport Ministry task force has examined all 33 issues raised by the FAA.
