A MAN is believed to have committed suicide by jumping off the 12th floor of a condominium in Bandar Kinrara, Serdang, on Monday after suffering stress due to losing his pilot job two months ago.

District police chief Ismadi Borhan, in a statement, said the 35-year-old died of injuries sustained from jumping out of his unit about 3pm.

“An inspection of the area did not find elements of foul play.”

Those close to the victim told police that he had been laid off as a pilot with a local airline.

“The pressure he felt is believed to have led to his decision to jump off the building,” said Ismadi, adding that the incident is under investigation. – Bernama, August 5, 2020.
