Man detained for causing public nuisance at KL court

Police have detained a man for causing public nuisance at the Kuala Lumpur Court Complex today following the conviction and sentencing of former prime minister Najib Razak over graft charges. – The Malaysian Insight pic by Afif Abd Halim, July 28, 2020.

A MAN has been taken away by police this evening after he allegedly caused public nuisance at the Kuala Lumpur Court Complex.

The man is believed to be one of Najib Razak’s supporters and was shouting at the entrance of the complex gate before police officers moved in and arrested him.

Prior to the incident, Najib’s supporters were expressing their dissatisfaction over the judge’s decision to sentence Najib to 12 years in prison and fine him RM210 million.
