MONEY from the Covid-19 Musa’adah fund was disbursed  to eligible  applicants, which includes PAS-owned kindergartens called Pasti,  said Dr Zulkifli Mohamad.

The Religious Affairs Minister said funds were channelled to the Orang Asli, fishermen, asnaf’s as well as educational institutions, including Pasti.

“We have disbursed the funds according to application and we are open minded. We have also given to other kindergartens, not just one, and we will disburse (the funds) as long as it fulfils the criteria,” he told the Dewan Rakyat today.

He was responding to a question by Fuziah Salleh (Kuantan-PH) on whether there was political interest in the RM100,000 allocation given to Pasti, as it is owned by PAS and his deputy is from the party.

Zulkifli said the Musa’adah fund was not large and amounted to less than RM6 million.

It was reported on July 6, that Pasti has received RM100,000 from the fund. – July 28, 2020.
