NOT more than 20 people are allowed to gather in one home during Hari Raya Aidiladha at the end of the month, Senior Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

Those under quarantine must not accept visitors or leave the home at all, he said.

“Only 20 people can be in one home at one time during Aidiladha. Not more than 20,” he said in a press conference today.

“For individuals under home quarantine, they must not accept visitors, they cannot go to the mosque to pray, and they cannot go back to their hometown.

The government urges people to remain vigilant as Covid-19 cases have been on the rise, he said.

Ismail said people are allowed to return to their hometowns for the holidays but they must strictly abide by the health and safety guidelines.

“We are not stopping people or closing the roads. Pictures on the internet of tents being set up (by the police) are fake.

“People can balik kampung as long as they follow the rules and SOPs.” – July 27, 2020.
