SIX Al Jazeera employees have been called in for police investigation under Malaysia’s Penal Code, Sedition Act and Communications and Multimedia Act in the wake of their 25-minute “101 East” investigative documentary, Locked Up in Malaysia’s Lockdown.

  • The rot starts in the head of the fish, as can be seen in the parliamentary exchanges over the removal of the existing Speaker. Hopefully the authorities will introduce a course in how to behave in a civilised manner in our school civics curriculum. And make sure all MPs undergo the course and be examined on it.
