THE Education, Rural Development and National Unity Ministries yesterday finalised the guidelines for the reopening of preschools.

The ministries, in a joint statement, said the guidelines were prepared in consultation with the Health Ministry and National Security Council.

“A special ministerial meeting on the implementation of movement restrictions on June 15 agreed that preschools and kindergartens can reopen on July 1.

“The guidelines should be read together with the school reopening management guidelines issued by the Education Ministry on June 4.”

They apply to all government and private preschools and kindergartens, and can be downloaded here. – Bernama, June 20, 2020.
