MACC officers called me pig, threatened to slap me, says Syed Saddiq’s aide

ANTI-GRAFT officers have been accused of using intimidation tactics while questioning a witness over RM250,000 allegedly stolen from the home of Bersatu politician Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman.

The former minister’s aide, Siti Nurul Hidayah, said Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission officers had threatened to slap her and verbally abused her.

  • MACC supervising committees should urgently investigate. Is there recording during questioning? Isn't it standard requirement to protect both the interrogator and the witness? If there is, just ask for the recording.

    If it's true, then the MACC also not apolitical.

  • What thuggish behaviour by MACC personnel. These people should be treated the same way they treat people, using tier authority to bully and humiliate. Disgraceful. The Director must take action against them. The same way police bully people who are vulnerable. Or immigration officers terrible treatment of immigrant workers. All are guilty of very bad behaviour.
