BERSATU is expected to formalise the removal of Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his faction at the party’s emergency supreme council meeting tonight, a source told The Malaysian Insight.
The source said the party will also discuss how Bersatu can join Umno.

Why sack Tun and destroy BERSATU if your intention is to join UMNO. Just leave BERSATU and join UMNO. I just dont see the logic behind the move.

The supreme council Meeting may not be valid as no notice was given. Its just a impromptu meeting which means even if they officially sack Mahathir today it is not valid and will not be accepted by ROS.
