TTDI market partially closed

THE Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI) market has been partially closed from today until June 1, according to a notice released by the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL).

Traders operating lots TS1 to TS40, TS33A, TS34A and TS131 were ordered to not conduct business at their stalls from today to June 1.

The order is enforced under the Local Government Act, the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act, the Police Act, and the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures within the Infectious Territory).

Recently, Pasar Raja Bot in Chow Kit and the Selayang Wholesale Market and Pasar Borong Harian Selayang in the city were closed for disinfection.

According to the Health Ministry, as of May 15, Covid-19 samples were taken from 36,130 traders and other parties at 331 markets.  

Of this, 258 were tested positive. – May 19, 2020.
