THERE were 15 new Covid-19 cases from the six enhanced movement control order (EMCO) areas in the past 24 hours, said the Ministry of Health.

Ten of the new cases were from Selayang Baru while four were from Selayang wholesale market.

There was one new case from Kg Sg Lui in Hulu Langat.

With the additional 10 cases, Selayang Baru has now reported 11 cases, while 83 cases have been reported from Selayang wholesale market. Kg Sg Lui has a total of 158 cases.

There were no new detections from Menara Plaza City One, Selangor Mansion or Malayan Mansion – all in the Masjid India area in Kuala Lumpur.

The ministry today announced 57 new cases as of noon today, bringing the overall total to 6,002.

Of the total, there are only 1,729 active cases with 84 people discharged in the past 24 hours.

The ministry says 102 people have died from Covid-19 in Malaysia. – April 30, 2020.
