Kedah third state to report zero active cases

KEDAH became the third state to be Covid-19-free, after reporting zero active cases as of noon yesterday, the Health Ministry’s infographics showed.

No active cases were reported across all 11 districts.

The state had reported a total of 95 cases.

Yesterday, Kelantan, became the second state to report zero active cases, after Perlis.

Meanwhile, Beluran in Sabah lost its green zone status after reporting one positive case. 

The number of red zones remained 12 while the yellow zones decreased to 57 from 61, while green zones increased to 88 from 85.

Lembah Pantai remained as the zone with the highest number of infections for the 26th day in a row with 762 infections, of which 293 are active.

Red zones are areas with more than 41 cases, orange (20 to 40 cases), yellow (one to 19 cases) and green zone (zero).

So far, 5,945 infections have been detected, of which 1,758 are active. A hundred people have so far died in the country. – April 30, 2020.
