Hilir Perak is 2nd red zone with no active cases

HILIR Perak has followed Rembau to become a Covid-19 red zone with zero active cases, according to Health Ministry data as of noon yesterday.

The Perak district has a total of 65 infections.

In all, 68 districts nationwide reported zero active cases.

Five red zones, namely Kinta, Kota Baru, Sepang, Hulu Selangor and Lahad Datu, each reported fewer than 10 active cases.

Red zones are areas with 41 and more coronavirus infections, orange (20 to 40), yellow (1 to 19) and green (0).

Lembah Pantai in Kuala Lumpur remains the red zone with the most cases for the 24th straight day. It reported a total of 742 infections, of which 280 are active cases.

Nationally, the number of infections stands at 5,780, of which 1,820 are active cases.

With no new fatalities reported yesterday, the death toll stays 98. – April 27, 2020.
