Malaysia records 100 recoveries, 38 new cases, no deaths

ONE hundred patients have recovered from Covid-19 and been discharged from hospitals, a figure nearly triple that of the 38 new cases reported over the past 24 hours, said director-general of health Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

In his daily briefing on the crisis, Noor Hisham also said that there were no reported deaths from the coronavirus during that time period, with the cumulative death toll remaining 98.

The director-general of health said 3,862 people have recovered from the virus, while the accumulated number of cases is now 5,780.

“Currently, there are 36 patients in intensive care, of whom 15 require respiratory support,” he said. – April 26, 2020.
