ONLY 400 Malaysians will be allowed to return home from Singapore every day through the Johor Causeway and Malaysia-Singapore Second Link, said Senior Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

Ismail Sabri said that those intending to return must also get an entry permit from the Malaysian high commission in Singapore.

“To avoid congestion, only 400 Malaysians are allowed in daily. The other SOPs are the same.  Malaysians returning will have to undergo the mandatory quarantine period for 14 days.

“Only those with a pass from the high commission will be allowed in,” he said in Putrajaya.

Ismail Sabri said the Malaysian high commission has received more than 900 applications from Malaysians looking to come home.

“Those who want to return home can fill the application through email at [email protected], and applications must be made two days before the date of return,” he added. – April 26, 2020.
